BMW Could Launch Hot Wagon Based On New 3-Series

BMW plans to officially introduce the next-generation 3-Series wagon next March at the Motor Show in Geneva. The model codenamed G21 is passing final tests.
Exactly the new 3-Series Touring can become the basis for the performance BMW M3 Touring. The latter will be the first sports wagon in the brand’s history. Autocar reported this, referring to its own insider sources.
If the information is confirmed, and BMW really begins to develop the M3 Touring, then the Audi RS4 Avant and the Mercedes-AMG C63 Estate will have a serious rival soon, because the development costs would be minimal.
